Cala Vadella is one of the southwest coast's most sheltered coves — a narrow inlet of calm, clear water surrounded by pine-covered cliffs. The village of Cala Vadella has a relaxed, small-scale character, and the properties that surround the bay are a mix of traditional houses close to the water and larger villas on the hillsides above. It is a family destination with a loyal repeat visitor base, and the pool is central to most stays here.

The sheltered position of Cala Vadella means less wind than the open coast, but the narrow valley traps heat effectively — pool water temperatures stay very high through the summer, which speeds up algae development and chlorine degradation. We maintain stabiliser levels carefully in outdoor pools here to protect free chlorine from UV breakdown.
